DME has expanded its digital offering with the onPrem catalog powered by CADENAS. With the offline solution for CAD product data, customers can now access essential engineering components at any time and from anywhere.

DME has been using the CADENAS online digital catalog for over 20 years. In June 2025, the company also began offering its customers a new offline solution: the onPrem catalog powered by CADENAS.

“Feedback from our customers showed that some are not always connected to the internet or are restricted from using it at work,” said Adam Schneeberger, European Marketing Manager at DME. To address this, DME has implemented the onPrem (on-premises) CAD catalog from CADENAS. The catalog works entirely offline, ensuring a consistent workflow and intuitive user experience. 

 

 

DME regularly maintains and updates its catalog of standard products, which is synchronized across all CADENAS platforms. Users can download components directly using predefined export formats. The catalog is available in both metric and imperial units, making it suitable for customers and colleagues across Europe, Asia and the USA.

For DME, the offline catalog is the ideal complement to the online version. “The tool is invaluable for our sales team, allowing them to leave a USB stick with our complete library at the customer’s site or to guide them on how to download data from the cloud. It helps us strengthen customer relationships by providing reliable access to our resources, regardless of internet connectivity,” Schneeberger said.
