Helix Linear Technologies has launched its new website to improve customers' online experience and add more products to its 3D parts catalog, powered by CADENAS USA. With these improved features and more CAD models available online, the linear technology manufacturer is making its website a one-stop store for all of its customers' needs.

"The website is a turnkey solution for engineers. They can use the calculators and CAD configurator, download 3D parts and request a quote - all in one place," says Chris Nook, CEO of Helix Linear.

The new website provides engineers with the information and CAD models they need without having to visit a Helix Linear representative or go through multiple pages. Online buyers can find and specify products faster, download CAD models, request a quote and purchase parts from the product page - reducing the time they spend searching for and downloading 3D parts.

"It's all about saving engineers design time. Our engineering customers have short design cycles, so they want to get all their questions answered, select a product and then move on," says Nook.

The 3D parts catalog created by CADENAS USA now offers more products for download, including electric cylinders, spline shafts, lead screws and the 200 series linear slides. The CAD catalog offers easy selection and configuration of products, an interactive 3D preview of the design part and instant CAD downloads in over 150 formats and versions, including interactive 3D PDF data sheets. At any time of the day or night, customers can quickly download a native CAD file from the Helix Linear website and get back to their design.

"It's the gold standard now - you have to have CAD models on your website or engineers will go elsewhere," says Nook.
