Industry Forum 2025: New beginnings instead of stagnation in the Chinese Year of the Wood Snake
The Industry Forum returns for the 23rd time in 2025: On 25 and 26 March 2025, experts and industry leaders will meet under the motto “Industrial AI and Trends” in the WWK Arena in Augsburg.
New beginnings instead of stagnation
2025 promises to be a special year for the Industry Forum and its visitors. Sufficient gloomy and negative forecasts and news can be found on almost all information channels. At the same time, artificial intelligence (AI) is opening up completely new opportunities! For us, this is reason enough to look ahead, speed up ourselves even more and support our customers and partners with clever digitalization strategies. In addition to use cases and specific practical examples of industrial AI, we are offering a stage for best practices and trends at the Industry Forum.
Over 30 experts will be sharing their specialist knowledge with visitors to the trade fair on two stages in the WWK Arena. Among them are thought leaders from market leaders such as SAP, Nikon SLM Solutions, Harmonic Drive as well as innovative SMEs and numerous associations. Participants can also look forward to exciting networking and knowledge sharing with exhibitors and speakers from the fields of mechanical and plant engineering, mechanics, electrical engineering and architecture. As always, the event will be rounded off by a trade exhibition of numerous CADENAS partners, who will present their software solutions or current research results.
Another highlight of the trade fair will be the presentation of the CADENAS Awards, a recognition for outstanding achievements in the industry.

We can only reveal so much about the theme for now: For one evening, we will take you on a trip to Asia. Here we make direct reference to the aforementioned Year of the Wood Snake.
Wood: The wood element stands for growth, expansion and a clear focus on further development. It is also associated with creativity and flexibility, which complements the calm, strategic character of the snake.
Snake: The combination of Wood and Snake brings a balance between strategic thinking and drive, which could make 2025 a year characterized by sound planning and clever implementation.
