Over 11,000 Sugatsune components are now available as CAD models on 3Dfindit

Since July 21 2025, the complete 3D CAD catalog of the Japanese hardware specialist Sugatsune has been available to users on the 3Dfindit engineering platform. This allows designers worldwide to access more than 11,000 precision-manufactured technical hinges, aluminum profile components, linear guides, locks, door access solutions, special fasteners, and many other products and solutions and incorporate them directly into their development process.
Measurable sales benefits thanks to CADENAS
For Sugatsune, the decision was clear: with 3Dfindit, CADENAS offers a global reach and a proven bridge to international customers. Each data set is available in over 100 native and neutral formats and can be seamlessly embedded in common CAD and BIM software after a download or directly via the CADENAS plugins.
This simplifies the design process, accelerates parts list processes and provides traceable contact requests - a measurable sales advantage that Sugatsune wants to use especially for the industrial segment in the fast-growing European, Turkish and American markets.
The joint journey began at Hannover Messe 2024, when the first talks between the two companies took place. The synergy for cooperation was quickly found in the extremely extensive and wide range of Sugatsune accessories for aluminum T-slot profiles. Almost all catalog products are designed for such standardized T-slot construction profiles.
What Sugatsune expects
The steadily growing demand for more complex solutions for factory automation was the reason to close this gap on the 3Dfindit platform. After the order was placed in December, CADENAS developed a lean import pipeline to efficiently transfer the extensive product data from the Sugatsune PIM system. The data records passed the final quality test at the beginning of July 2025.
"At the launch, we expect immediate feedback in the form of download figures and qualified leads. At the same time, our marketing team is working on embedding the 3D models on our own website with the help of CADENAS Web Components," says a Sugatsune spokesperson.
Innovative distribution with CADENAS and 3Dfindit
Component manufacturers who publish their catalog with eCATALOG 3Dfindit on the global engineering platform 3Dfindit practically extend their distribution to the designer's CAD system: Each model is verified by the manufacturer, can be downloaded in more than 100 native and neutral formats and is thus transferred directly into parts lists and purchasing processes with just a few clicks.
By making the CAD data available as a Digital Twin in the early development phase, the chances of these exact components being planned, ordered and installed in the final design increase considerably. This seamless path into the design has been proven to increase download and lead figures. A survey conducted by CADENAS among more than 280,000 engineers highlights these insights.
