Heavy duty gland plate with high strain relief and certified protection up to IP68 / UL Type 4X*.

KEL-DPU entry plates are designed to route and seal cables without connectors (from 3.2 mm to 20.5 mm in diameter) in limited space with IP66 / IP68 / UL type 12 & 4X* ratings. The gland KEL-DPU is especially characterised by its very robust hard frame made of Polypropylenee which is completely moulded with elastomer. This results in a high ingress protection and stability as well as in a high strain relief level of the routed cables.The KEL-DPU 24 matches exactly the cut-out dimensions of 24-pin standard industrial connectors. For optional screw assembly just pierce the membranes on the integrated screw holes with the screw itself. The grey KEL-DPU 24 is also available with threaded bushings. When plugging or screw fixing the KEL-DPU from the inside of the enclosure the screw holes remain completely sealed by the elastomer layer.The assembly of the KEL-DPU with unterminated cables or pneumatic hoses can be done quick and easy. Simply make a small hole in the thin membrane and push the cables through.ST-B Plugs can be used for sealing pierced membranes if cables have been removed.It is also possible to integrate threaded bushings. Please ask us about your desired variant.The version with threaded bushings enables the cable entry plate to be screwed onto the housing from the inside out. This protects against vandalism and tampering with the housing from the outside.*4X for indoor use only
