Capacitive sensors

Capacitive sensors detect changes in capacitance between the sensor and an object, using the electric field between the electrodes and conductive or dielectric materials, such as human skin, water, or metal. These sensors allow for the detection of presence, proximity, or object levels without physical contact. They are used in applications such as touch sensors for smartphones and tablets, proximity detection in industrial automation, level sensors in liquids, and object detection in packaging and robotics industries.
