Timing belt diverter is a mechanical component used to steer a timing belt from one axis to another. The diverter can be manufactured in different sizes and designs depending on the type of timing belt it is to steer. The idler can also be used to steer the timing belt at a specific point on the axis instead of steering it around the entire axis.
