Turnbuckles
A turnbuckle is a mechanical device used to connect metal plates or bars. It is mainly used in the building and construction industry. Turnbuckles come in different sizes and designs. However, most are rectangular and have an opening in the center through which a metal rod or plate is inserted. On the sides of the turnbuckle are two levers. When these levers are pushed down, they grip the metal rod or plate on the sides and hold it in place.
