Thermoplastics

Thermoplastics are plastics that melt when heated and solidify again when cooled. They can be melted and formed several times and are therefore particularly suitable for the production of injection molded parts. Most thermoplastics are plastics with a low melting point, i.e. they already melt at temperatures around 100 °C. The best-known thermoplastics include polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
